I first met Sarah when she tried out for our college rugby team. Sarah's winning smile and athletically toned physique were a welcomed addition to our squad. Our rugby club relied heavily on its members for training & instruction. So when Sarah mentioned she was studying in the exercise physiology program, we did not hesitate to lean on her for assistance. Sarah developed training regimes for many individuals while also coordinating strength and conditioning workouts for our team practices. Not only did she become a pivotal player on our team, we won Conference, she got our butts in shape too. Without question, Sarah's strength and conditioning training was instrumental in propelling us to a conference championship and an opportunity to compete for a regional championship. She is a hard worker and encourages you to work harder. I feel privileged to have played beside Sarah as her Captain.Jennifer (Ozzy) Howe

I've been exercising with Sarah for the last year. She is a wonderful person and treats you special with exercises that are unique for your needs. She makes you feel good, when she sees you are getting better she challenges you again. She’s great at giving you contacts for different people with different areas of expertise like massage therapists and meal planning. When I first began working out with Sarah I could not get up from the floor by myself without help because of my medical condition, now I am able to get up without help and I can feel confident when I go out that if I fall, I can get up on my own. She has given me back freedom and confidence. I would recommend her to anyone, man, woman, old, young, sick, healthy or couples. She is truly amazing!Kathleen W.

It’s hard to believe that two half hour workout sessions a week could yield so much! I feel so much stronger, have more energy, and just feel better all the way around. I look forward to my workouts with Sarah and continuing my fitness journey.Laura Frankiewicz

Sarah was referred to me by Sycamore Integrated Health and I’m so glad I found her! She adapts the program to my unique needs and the changes my body goes through because of my physical medical limitations and how I feel on any given day. She coaches in the moment as she sees my response to whatever exercise I am performing. I feel that Sarah will help me reach my goals, and I have already made a lot of progress! Plus, she is such a nice lady, with a very fun sense of humor!Jan Meier

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the guidance you have provided to me. As a former athlete, the “push yourself” mentality has always come easy for me. I enjoy working out, and I enjoy working out hard. Unfortunately, like many athletes, I also have a history of sports injuries, including the trauma of broken bones, strained muscles, low back pain and a lingering cervical neck injury. What I love the most about you is that you have pushed me to do things that are well with-in my physical capabilities, but also happen to be things that I had long since determined that I couldn’t do. Thank you for helping me safely overcome my fears. While I know I have limitations, working with you has shown me that I am not as limited as what I once thought. This realization has helped me to make more progress in the past 6 weeks than I have been able to make in the past several years. Secondly, I want you to know that I am extremely happy with the results I have seen thus far. In 6 weeks, I have seen my body become leaner, stronger and more toned. While I still have a long way to go to meet my fitness goals, I rejoice because I have already accomplished so much! An added perk is that my aches and pains have greatly subsided. Working a desk job is hard on my body and resistance training has really helped to minimize the effects of a sedentary occupation. Lastly, Despite having been an athlete for most of my life, I have come to realize that there is a lot I didn’t know about resistance training. Having a personal trainer is very unique because the trainer is entirely focused on their ONLY client. By working one-on-one, you were able to correct form and breathing errors for me. Who knew I was doing sit-ups, biceps curls, and squats the wrong way all these years? Unbelievable! The bottom line is, you are very knowledgeable and I am very pleased with your services. Please feel free to share this letter with anyone who is on the fence about personal fitness training. Perhaps some first-hand insight would be helpful to them. May they feel as pleased and empowered as I do!Kimberly Barrios
